Product Description
A dry rub is a mixture of coarse-ground spices that is made for the purpose of being rubbed on raw food before the food is cooked. The rub forms a coating on the food. The food can be left to set so the flavors incorporate into it or it can be cooked immediately.
Dry rubs can be used on any type of meat or vegetable and we have a variety of flavors so you can do just that.
The most popular method of cooking when using a dry rub is grilling, but any dry heat source (such as baking or pan roasting) can be used. When baking or roasting, water can be added after the food has partially cooked with the dry heat.
Our rubs come in resealable zip pouches. The small pouch measures approx. 3" x 5" and contains 1.5 to 2 oz of rub. The medium pouch measures approx. 4" x 6". The large pouch measures approx. 5" x 8".
Each of the rubs has a different weight. Some are coarse and some are fine.
